IT Project Manager

Job brief

We are looking for a IT project manager to be responsible for handling our company’s ongoing projects. You will be working closely with your team members to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. Responsibilities include submitting project deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as the proper execution of said plans.

Responsibilities

Determine and define project scope and objectives
Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Track project costs to meet budget
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
Manage contracts with Product team and stake holders by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Skill Sets

Agile/scrum, Time Management, Leadership, Problem solving
Drafting project brief , Project road mapping , Task management

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in a related field.
3-5 years of project management and related experience
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively
Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
